Where we come from
Royal Van Beest Group has been in business since 1922. Dirk van Beest was a blacksmith in the home port of the Dutch dredging industry: Sliedrecht. This hardworking craftsman produced various parts for the dredging and shipbuilding industry, including the fasteners which would later be sold worldwide under the name Green Pin®.

Where we are today
Dirk van Beest had a simple mission: to make 100% safe products. With this focus, the company grew rapidly in parallel with the international growth of the Dutch maritime and dredging industry. Today, Royal Van Beest Group is still family-owned, and that can be felt inside and outside the company. The head office is still located in Sliedrecht, but we have colleagues all over the world.
Where we go
Today, Royal Van Beest Group has branches in the Netherlands, France, Germany and Spain, with distribution centers in Sliedrecht, Chicago and Houston. We operate in more than 100 countries, but Dirk's ambition and Royal Van Beest Group's family values are still tangible in our global business. We see it as a mission and an honor to continue Dirk van Beest's work and grow our company. With still the same simple mission: 100% safe products. Living up to the promise.

Challenging projects
Dirk van Beest's vision is in every product that Royal Van Beest Group provides. We provide safety in the most challenging circumstances. Industry experts know where to find us when the situation demands optimum reliability. For example, when installing wind turbines and drilling platforms. In extreme deep-sea projects or lifting nuclear power stations. We helped lift the world's biggest planes, and our products contribute to the safety of the Johan Cruyff Arena.
Challenging work
Our only way is up. Our customers' projects must be lifted safely. And our own people have to be safe. That goes a long way at Royal Van Beest Group. Because we challenge our people and ask a lot.
