Inside Sales Employee

The Royal Van Beest Group is a globally active and leading manufacturer of high-quality chain and wire rope accessories, for applications such as lifting, hoisting, anchoring, and securing loads. These products are used in various sectors such as oil and gas, wind, industry, mining, shipping, and fishing. With strong brands like Green Pin®, Irizar Forge, Heuer Hebetechnik, Sling Supply Intl., Enduro Soft Sling, we play a leading role in these sectors.

The sales team in Sliedrecht is responsible for the worldwide sales of our Green Pin® products. The department consists of six Area Sales Managers and a General Sales Manager, who are supported by the Inside Sales team. This important team at the heart of our company maintains international customer contacts within EMEA and APAC and contributes significantly to the commercial success of our company. Due to international growth, more complex customer interactions, a broader range of tasks, and a higher daily workload, we are looking to strengthen the team with a sales- and service-oriented candidate for the position of Inside Sales Employee.

Your core tasks:

  • You are responsible for multiple international markets and support the Area Sales Managers who are active worldwide.

  • You have daily contact by phone or email with large and small international customers, and through your actions, you have a major impact on the commercial results with these customers.

  • You independently prepare quotations, follow them up closely, process orders correctly, keep an overview of everything that has been initiated, and think actively and service-oriented with the customers.

  • You act as a full-fledged discussion partner and sounding board for both Area Sales Managers and customers, identifying commercial opportunities and stimulating revenue growth.

  • You take the lead in optimizing work processes, with an eye for efficiency, quality, and commercial impact.

Job requirements

Your background:

  • A completed higher professional education (HBO/University of Applied Sciences) in a commercial direction.

  • Extensive experience in an international commercial inside sales position, preferably within a technical or industrial environment.

  • Drive and a strong ambition to grow further both in your commercial field and personally.

  • A customer-oriented and proactive attitude, combined with excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage, the willingness to learn Dutch a must.

  • Committed, enterprising, proactive, and positive attitude.

  • Skilled with software; experience with SAP is a plus.

  • Flexible and independent, but also a real team player.

  • Accurate, precise, structured, and result-oriented in your work.
